ACP
Platform Principles Summary
These are in no order of importance please check out the full
platform plank for full details if more details are listed in following
sections.
Immigration Reform- Promote legal immigration and end illegal
immigration. Enforce the laws of the United States in regards to our
borders.
Immigration has made America great. America is a
nation of immigrants. However, America
is also a nation of laws. America
must promote legal immigration while ending illegal immigration. Illegal
immigrants should not be rewarded for coming to this nation illegally. Illegal
immigration is breaking the law. We must protect our borders to maintain
security for all Americans. Ending illegal immigration will also stop the abuse
and the pseudo slavery like conditions that many illegal immigrants endure to
live in the U.S.
Thus, the ACP supports:
1. The ACP supports the increase in
Immigration centers to be strategically placed along the border. These would be
similar to how Ellis Island was back in the
late 19th early 20th centuries. These centers would have employees to help the
immigrants begin their paperwork on the Internet. This would help speed up
immigration process. Emergency Medical and Food supplies would be housed as
well along with Immigrant Employment Services and Law enforcement/Border patrol
officers. These centers will be able to do DNA, Face mapping, fingerprints,
health checks, and law enforcement database checks. These centers may also help
with lining up job training programs for immigrants as well.
2. Guest Worker Program
a.
Companies who hire guest workers will only be allowed to hire them after a
three month period of the position being available only to American citizens
and immigrants already in the citizenship process. If after three months no
American citizen has taken the job or immigrant in citizenship process has
taken the position/s. The position/s may be opened to guest worker program
after an INS review and okay.
3. Any
illegal immigrant in the United
States will not be offered a path to
citizenship unless they are deported back to their country of origin. They will
be placed to the back of the immigration line from that nation if they want to
immigrate legally. Any children born from illegal immigrants will have their U.S.
citizenship stripped as they received citizenship at birth under false
pretenses due to their parent’s illegal status in this nation.
a.
The ACP is open to the idea of a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants
in America
under the following conditions.
1a.
Full payment of any back taxes
2a.
Criminal background checks
3a.
The notation of the crime of illegal immigration on their permanent record and
the payment of a $15,000 fine.
Federal Ban on Sanctuary Cities:
The ACP thinks that a federal ban on sanctuary cities must
be initiated to help prevent illegal immigration and illegal immigrant crime.
- A
sanctuary city for the purpose of his issue will be defined as any city or
municipality or state that does not report illegal immigrants involved in
crimes to the INS or other appropriate agencies.
- All
police or law enforcement officers at any level must check for habitation
status in the U.S.
for all suspects suspected to be of illegal status when suspect is
detained or confronted in course of an investigation or other manner of
police or law enforcement business.
- Law
enforcement must only check immigration status of suspects in the crime.
They may not check for immigration status during interviews of witnesses.
- This
is to protect workers while working and to foster to keep the proper line
of responsibilities between law enforcement and immigration enforcement
agencies when and where appropriate.
- This
will also help foster trust between “peaceful” illegal immigrants and law
enforcement officials.
- Any
municipality or state that remains a sanctuary city or state will have the
chief executive (i.e. governor, mayor, councilperson) arrested and tried
for aiding and abetting illegal immigration.
- Also
federal funds will be reduced to that municipality and/or state.
